Formula 1 moving to Sky

Unfortunately due to cuts the BBC have given the rights of the Formula One to Sky. Sky will definitely have the F1 from 2012-2018. Sky will have the rights to broadcast every practice session, qualifying session and the race live. Luckily, for people who only have free-view and free-sat, the BBC will still be able to broadcast half the races, including the British GP, Monaco GP and the final race of the season. Also, BBC Radio 5 will still broadcast every race on the F1 calendar, while highlights of Sky Sports-covered races will appear on BBC television, online and mobile. Both will broadcast in high-definition.
Sky quoted: "We will give Formula One the full Sky Sports treatment with a commitment to each race never seen before on UK television."
