This weekend it is the British Grand Prix. The forecast is looking very wet which should mean an exciting race (like Canada)! Qualifying is on Saturday and then it is the actual race on Sunday. Full coverage by the BBC.
Earlier on this week Felipe Massa quoted "Hamilton needs to calm down". Hamilton is currently driving on the edge, recently though this has resulted in penalties. Lets hope he can do well this race!!
Qualifying
During Q1 it was chucking it down. Webber set the fastest time with his partner Vettle coming 4th.
Also, Sebastian Vettle is on Top Gear on Sunday. He will be setting a time in the Suzuki Liana.
Alguersuari, Buemi, Glock, Trulli, D'Ambrosio, Liuzzi, Ricciardo have all been knocked out. By Q2 the rain had stopped and both Mercedes were out on track. But by the end of Q2 Sutil, Perez, Schumacher, Petrov, Barrichello, Heidfeld and Kovalainen had been knocked out.
Both McLaren's are running slow in Q3. Half way through Webber was winning. Paul Di Resta 6th and Maldonado behind him in 7th. Kobayashi in 8th however he had a problem. Lots of different drivers in the top 10 this weekend. Not just the same people. With 3 minutes to go Lewis Hamilton was on the wrong tires and coming 10th. Unfortunately with 2 minutes to go light rain stared but that was no problem for Rosberg who set his own personal best!

Race
With a damp temperature of 20 centigrade. There was a clean start. Hamilton moving up to 6th and Vettle taking first of Mark Webber! Schumacher moving into 9th!! Everybody seems to have started on intermediate tyres. Lap 8: Vettel, Webber, Alonso, Massa, Hamilton, Button, di Resta, Kobayashi, Schumacher and then Sutil.
Schumacher lost his front nose cone into Kobayashi. He has changed his tyres to soft. On lap 13 and 14 everyone is coming into the pits and Kobayashi has went into someone!
Button has just amazingly taken over Massa! Hamilton has just taken Alonso! Vettle and Webber have both hit traffic. Schumacher has just went for his stop/go penalty.
Lap 19: VET, WEB, HAM, ALO, BUT, MAS, DIR, MSC, SUT, ROS, PER, KOB, HEI, ALG, MAL, BUT, PERT, BAR, GLO, LIU, DAM, RIC, TRU[Retired], KOV[Retired].
Alonso has taken it back on Hamilton and Schumacher has moved to 15th. On lap 25 Kobayashi is out! Sergio Perez is in 10th. Paul di Resta has just almost had the wrong tyres put on!
Lap 27: VET, WEB, ALO, BUT, MAS, HAM, DIR, SUT, ROS, PER, HEI, ALG, MAL, BUE, MSC, PET, BAR, GLO, DAM, LIU, RIC. The yellow flag is out because Buemi and di Resta have had contact. Sebastian Buemi has a rear puncher.
Alonso has taken the lead in the pit stop! Vettle and Webber are now 3rd and 4th!! Buemi has decided to call it a day! Webber is taking it very wide! Sebastian Vettle has taken an early pit stop. Hamilton pits and comes out after Vettle! Button has lost a wheel nut and had to stop at the end of the pits! Confirmation that Jenson Button is out of the race. Hamilton has just been told that he dose not have enough fuel to finish the race so he needs to drive carefully and Jenson Button is under investigation for a unsafe release.
With 8 laps to go Alonso leads by 12.6 seconds from Vettel. Hamilton and Webber are battling for 3rd. Webber opens DRS and takes Hamilton. Another confirmation that Hamilton may not finish the race! Alonso leads Vettel, Webber, Hamilton and Massa. Webber and Vettle fighting for 2nd on the final lap.
